Stefani’s Bottega Italiana: Authentic Italian Pizza & Pasta in Chicago, IL

This place is amazing .. a little on the pricy side but well worth it! Ladies making fresh pasta right in the left side of the store when you walk in. They have a bunch of cute little shelves with all kinds of really unique oils and seasonings and cheese’s I could go on and on.! here’s some photos! Enjoy!

Nice little local Italian eatery on the north side. Great service and good food. You can taste the difference by the fresh ingredients they use. Although the coffee was disappointing, they use lavazza pods, but the service to make it the way you like fills the gap…

Food was very good and reasonably priced. Highly recommend the half moon cheese ravioli in tomato and basil sauce. Lasagna was good too.

Fantastic Roman-style Italian food! Handmade fresh on site, these pastas are outstanding. Stefani's Restaurant Group has done it again in providing high-quality ingredients, handmade dishes, in an easily accessible carryout-style Italian eatery. In a "walk up and order" counter style system, Stefani's Bottega Italiana makes it easy to zip in and grab a quick, high-quality carry out food item to go. They also have seating for about 30 people to dine in. We carried out the homemade tortellini with green basil pesto sauce and it was flavorful and fresh. We also had their Roman style pizza which uses 72 hour fermented dough for a wonderful fluffy, yet crispy crust. The Salsiccia E Pepe pizza was great, with lots of red and green bell peppers, Italian sausage, homemade tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. My husband also had the Torino sandwich with grilled zucchini eggplant and Italian Brie on another day and he said it was awesome. I love that they make the pasta fresh right there inside the location. Now we have another high quality restaurant within our Gladstone Park neighborhood! I give Stefani's Bottega Italiana five stars!

We tried this new place out. The atmosphere was nice, felt authentic Italian. I had a very yummy Tortellini di Ricotta. But I thought it was rather high in price for the amount of food. It was enough for me, but at $20, it was high. No bread or veggies come with it. The picture is the amount you get for the cost. My husband had lasagne bolognese. He didn't care for it. It was a meaty sauce with no red "gravy" as his Italian family would call it. I tried it and didn't like the taste either. I will try the pizza next. In general, I liked my food, so I gave it 4 stars.

I absolutely love Stephanie bottega Italiana! They make the pasta in house and all the food. Everything taste so fresh. I am obsessed with the pasta and the Roman style pizza. So good!

This spot has homemade pasta and sauces. You can build your own pasta instead of getting the already made specials. I wish the only thing they would add or have is some sort of protein you can add. The inside is cozy and the staff is super welcoming and helpful. My boyfriend got the rigatoni & the sauce was hearty and meaty. I would recommend this dish as a comfort pasta dish. I built my own with tagliatelle noodles with the basil pesto sauce. If there was an option for chicken breast or something, the build your own would be amazing! The Chicago sandwich was pretty amazing, I just wish they had like other deli meats to add onto the sandwich to make it hearty. I think the thin slices of meat made the sandwich messy and spillage was too easy. Overall though, I would come and try the other dishes they have!

Very nice place, had the lasagna. Also got a side of meatballs, but make sure you get that. They were amazing, and came with bread to dip with. Cannollis were good as well. We will be back.
